Role Overview: In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the development of the sustainability strategy of the company and coordinate its implementation. You will play a key role in driving the company’s commitment to sustainability by collaborating with various departments and external stakeholders. This position offers the chance to shape the company’s approach to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues, ensuring that sustainability is integrated into the core business practices.

Your responsibilities would be: To support the implementation of the developed company’s sustainability strategy and the outlined yearly action plans To work closely with the extended sustainability team across the different company departments in order to support them in the implementation of their sustainability action plans and overall strategy To understand current and future challenges within the industry and prioritize these issues with internal teams and external stakeholders To take a leading role in the yearly ESG/Sustainability reporting To be aware of the requirements included in the ISO 14001 standard (Environmental Management) and serve as part of the Environmental Management Team, taking the respective responsibilities, defined by the company’s Environmental Management System To serve as a sustainability “ambassador” within the company who can translate sustainability trends and challenges into a business-friendly language To be responsible for the creation of internal communication & engagement and training plans related to the topic of sustainability and support the respective teams with the implementation of those plans

We expect from you:

  • Sustainability Passion and Knowledge: Demonstrated interest in sustainability, with relevant knowledge or experience being a plus. A strong passion and curiosity about the topic are highly valued.
  • Project Management and Strategic Execution: Proven experience in project management, with a solid track record of successfully delivered projects. Certification in project management (e.g., PMI) is an added advantage.
  • Communication and Persuasion: Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and convince others, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Multitasking and Prioritization: Highly skilled in multitasking while maintaining a strong focus on business priorities, ensuring efficient and effective execution.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration: Experience in engaging with external stakeholders, including business associations, NGOs, and government entities, is an asset.
  • Telecommunications Industry Insight: Knowledge of the telecommunications industry is considered an advantage, enhancing the ability to align sustainability efforts with industry-specific challenges.
