DevOps Engineer

Requirements:

• In depth knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux/Unix distributions
• Software development background in OOP or scripting skills in one or more of the following – PowerShell/Bash/Python/GO/Groovy/Ruby
• Experience working with containers and Docker technologies – Kubernetes/OpenShift/Docker Swarm
• Understanding of the different cloud technologies and practical experience with at least one of the most used public clouds – AWS
• Experience with industry leading CI/CD practices and build configuration management
• Experience with integration and operations of monitoring tools
• Experience with one or more of the DevOps orchestration/automation tools – Terraform/Ansible/Chef/Puppet
• Enjoys collaborating with others and has above-average communication skills
• Fluent English

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with software developers, system operators and other IT staff members to manage code releases.
• Responsible for multitasking and dealing with multiple urgent situations at a time including mitigation/prevention actions and root cause analysis
• Troubleshooting and resolving existing information systems errors
• Overseeing product monitoring systems to provide swift responses to critical alerts to prevent product outages
• Products deployments and upgrades
• Configures solutions and implements reusable components
• Responds to critical incidents and routine application maintenance tasks
• Keeping the product operating documentation and knowledge base up-to-date
