Data Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our client’s team in the manufacturing sector, specializing in software solutions for large-scale factories and the oil industry.
Responsibilities:
➢ Architect efficient, scalable data pipelines that process large datasets, aligning with the client’s needs in the manufacturing sector;
➢ Utilize cloud platforms to deploy robust data solutions tailored to industrial environments;
➢ Oversee relational databases and integrate non-relational systems to support diverse data requirements;
➢ Seamlessly incorporate external APIs into data workflows, ensuring smooth data integration and real-time processing;
➢ Implement quality control through testing frameworks, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data throughout the lifecycle;
➢ Identify and implement tailored data solutions that directly address the operational challenges of manufacturing clients.
**Requirements:
Experience:**
➢ 3+ years of experience working as a Data engineer or in a relevant field;
Tech skills:
➢ Proficient in Python and experience delivering production-grade data pipelines;
➢ Experienced in developing and/or deploying services on a cloud platform;
➢ Excellent knowledge of Azure, Databricks;
➢ Familiarity with relational databases, SQL;
➢ Competent in understanding and using APIs;
➢ Skilled in writing integration tests;
➢ Proficient in utilizing Gitlab or equivalent.
Additional:
➢ Willingness to travel as needed as the new team members are to be trained in Aberdeen/Oslo;
➢ Candidates to be based in Europe time zone CET +/- 2 hrs.
