Suppy Chain Specialist for Application and Process team
Due to a cooperation with a client of ours a production company specializing in the development of designs, manufactures bearings, seals, and lubrication systems with several factories in Bulgaria, we are looking for an IT Support Specialist for one of their manufacturing headquarters in Sopot, Bulgaria.
About the position: In the role of Supply Chain Support Specialist, you will work within the exciting and growing area of XA and the next level of manufacturing. Application & Process Support (APS) is now looking for a new talent to help build up support in this area. As a Support Specialist, you step in and become a key player within the team. With a focus on the interaction between users, IT processes, and IT applications.
With your positive energy and engagement to drive change, you will shine in an ever-changing IT environment. Your previous experiences have formed you into a driven, communicative, curious force that will never give up until the end target is reached.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in close collaboration with the supply chain organization. You will help with seeing the bigger picture, think outside the box, find improvements and solutions. Get the opportunity to help steer the development towards more digitized and automated processes within our factories.
The role of a Support Specialist is primarily to engage in day-to-day operational needs to secure quality support services.
Main responsibilities: To provide professional support to key users in EMEA; Drive and resolve reported issues and escalate to the appropriate vendors, if necessary, while still taking end-to-end responsibility; Support several process flows across integrated applications, covering both micro and macro perspectives in the process, while having the end-user experience in focus. Participate in project work such as development and roll-out activities/ implementations; Work to improve the support area by identifying quality risks and opportunities for improvement, while always keeping the needs of the business as the priority. Develop and document Best Practices, Service Catalogue, and FAQ; Be able to communicate on many different levels and understand that not everyone speaks IT. Participate in user-acceptance test as required; Lead and assist in training activities; To promote APS value to the business.
Main requirements: Previous work experience in supply chain-related work is an advantage; Experience in internal order handling or inventory management is an advantage. Experience in key planning concepts such as manufacturing data, product planning, warehouse inventory planning, planning data, sales forecast, etc is an advantage. Relevant skills in the field of IT including education, preferred University degree Proven track record of collaborating with multinational teams and working with remote teams, fluent business English is a pre-requisite; Vendor management experience is an advantage; Previous Application / System administration experience is an advantage; ITIL knowledge is an advantage; DOH / OMPS / XA knowledge is an advantage.
