Production Planner

On behalf of one of our trusted clients, we are looking to hire: Production Planner

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with sales, production, and shipping departments to ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time and within schedule.
• Lead and communicate the production commit schedule to customer sales representatives, considering capacity and component constraints.
• Monitor weekly production execution, update order statuses, and ensure timely completion of production orders.
• Anticipate material and component requirements for future production needs and subassembly processes.
• Review capacity loads, identify manufacturing constraints, and adjust production plans accordingly.
• Monitor inventory levels, forecast future requirements, and prevent shortages or excess stock.
• Address and resolve production issues due to component or capacity constraints in collaboration with relevant teams.
• Generate regular reports on order statuses, production progress, and potential scheduling issues; work with departments to find solutions.
• Coordinate expedited requests as needed to meet customer and production demands.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain management.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with various departments to align goals and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in production planning software and tools (e.g., ERP systems).
• Familiarity with inventory management, capacity planning, and forecasting.
• Fluent English.
