Head of Renewable Energy and Large Clients Unit

The Renewable Energy and Large Clients Unit is part of the Credit Risk department in the Head Office. The primary responsibility of the unit is to assess loan applications from business clients, particularly those involving Renewable Energy financing. The unit's focus is on evaluating applications of upper medium exposures, ensuring sound risk analysis. The Head of the Unit will supervise several credit risk analysts and work closely with the Head of Credit Risk.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the work of the credit risk analysts within the unit, ensuring that tasks are distributed efficiently, and quality standards are met
- Distribute and prioritize daily tasks, ensuring they are completed within deadlines and in compliance with established procedures
- Participate in credit committees and decision-making regarding loan disbursements to ensure thorough and accurate risk assessments
- Travel within the country to visit large clients as necessary to assess creditworthiness and ensure proper relationship management
- Lead the coordination and implementation of new rules and procedures related to the bank’s lending activities, ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal guidelines
- Prepare detailed reports for the Management Board and external audits, particularly related to credit risk in renewable energy and large corporate financing.
MAIN REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 4 years of experience in a senior managerial position in banking or a similar financial institution
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations related to credit activities
- Extensive experience in financing SMEs and large mid-cap companies, with strong knowledge of Renewable Energy Systems (RES) financing and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) practices
- Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting
- Advanced proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Proven leadership abilities, excellent planning and organizational skills and analytical and strategical thinking
