Quality engineer

For one of our clients - a multinational company in aerospace and industrial markets, we are looking for a Quality engineer:

Responsibilities:

• Evaluates procedures and work instructions that are required per the Quality Management System.
• Manages the creation, review and approval of QMS documents.
• Performs quality related activities associated with the nonconforming material control process.
• Responsible for advance quality planning processes. Examples include Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)/First Article Inspection (FAI), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Statistical Process Control (SPC) processes.
• Is actively involved in problem solving activities, and ensuring the robustness of root cause and corrective action analysis (RCCA) when necessary.
• Facilitates and represents Quality with regards to quality system matters during external audits (regulatory and/or customer).
• Performs periodic internal audits.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Engineering Degree;
• Prior experience in Quality Management Systems (document management, internal and/or external audits, nonconforming material control, and root cause and corrective action processes);
• Demonstrates solid computer skills including MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point. (Minitab, ERP systems and Visio is a plus);
• Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of ISO9001, and/or TS16949 requirements;
• Knowledge in the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) processes;
• Knowledge in process capability concepts, including but not limited to Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques;
• Understands and is capable of operating all calibration master systems;
• Excellent verbal and written English.
