Senior Project Manager (at centralized country PMO)

Job Brief:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team and to lead successful delivery of various projects typical for the Insurance industry.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing monitoring, and closing projects within budget and time constraints. You will also coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, manage risks and issues, and ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

The position requires an understanding of project management, organizational skills, leadership, and communication skills.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Project Management, Economics, Computer Science, IT or another related fieldFluency in English and Bulgarian
  • At least 5 years of experience in project management (preferably in the insurance, banking, or financial services industry).
  • Previous experience with insurance projects will be considered as an advantage.Ability to manage complex and cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
  • Certification with international Project Management Standards (i.e. PMI, Prince2, IPMA, Scaled Agile)
  • Software development cycle expertise and knowledge (e.g. SDLC, ITIL) (advantage)
  • Systems integrations & data migration expertise and knowledge (advantage)
  • Proficiency in MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, M365Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Lead End-to-End strategic Projects, Project teams and all activities to ensure that the project remains on track (i.e. schedule, quality, budget, resources, risks - full responsibility) and delivers desired results/benefits.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate/collaborate with them on a daily basis.
  • Align project objectives and deliverables with the organization’s strategic goals and vision.
  • Tracking progress and ensuring project milestones/deadlines are met.
  • Assessing project risks and issues. Proposes measures, if necessary
  • Managing budgets and expenditures and maintaining source of information
  • Work closely with IT/technical leads to successfully deliver technical solutions, systems integrations, data migrations or process/systems implementation projects.
  • Identify and manage changes, risks, issues, dependencies and opportunities
  • Constantly monitor, measure and report on project progress and results to all stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement activities that assure project is aligned with the business goals.
  • Ensure controlled handovers to users and business-as-usual processes.
  • Ensuring projects adhere to the approved frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
  • Constantly monitor, measure and report on project status, progress and results to all impacted stakeholders, PMO and senior management
  • Maintain and update project’ SharePoint and documentation.
  • Collaborate with other Project Managers to share knowledge, lessons learned, and best practices as part of a Community of Practice.
