Electrical Design Engineer

For one of our trusted clients - a leading Bulgarian company in the Renewables sector, we are currently looking for Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their team.
Main responsibilities:
- Preparing project documentation (conceptual, schematic, and working designs), executive documentation, and electrical schemes for rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems, ensuring compliance with legislation and safety guidelines.
- Solar PV systems design and other power equipment using state of the art software tools
- Preparation of simulations, calculations, and optimization reports
- Conducting technical site surveys and assessment of field data about the rooftop/ground and make recommendations on solar energy feasibility
- Quality assurance of the provided engineering solutions
- Collaboration with a variety of engineering disciplines including civil, geotechnical, structural, Health & Safety, etc.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- BSc or MSc degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Electrical Equipment or similar
- Previous solar PV design experience is considered an advantage
- Strong understanding of solar energy systems, including electrical and mechanical components is considered an advantage
- Fluency in English or/and German both written and spoken
- Valid Driving License – Category B
