Our client is an innovative, fast-growing international software product company company, specializing in data-driven solutions. They focus on a wide variety of data services, including data search and discovery, data governance, data stewardship, analytics and digital transformation. To better support their global clients, they are expanding their remote team in Bulgaria and are seeking an experienced Support Engineer. The role involves providing infrastructural support for the application environment, troubleshooting server, cloud, and performance-related issues, and ensuring timely resolution of technical incidents. Application Support Engineer
Responsibilities:
• Support their client's stakeholder base in using their innovative data-driven platform; • Troubleshoot & resolve technical issues regarding our client's variety of data solutions; • Maintain technical documentation and backlogs for problem replication and resolution; • Ensure that SLAs for Response Time & Resolution Time are consistently met; • Provide correct and complete support escalations and bug reports;
Requirements:
• At least 3 years of a similar work experience as a Support Engineer for an enterprise software product; • Experience in administrating Linux-based applications; • Experience with relational databases (SQL, Postgres) and understanding of ETL; • Good knowledge about web servers (e.g. Apache and Nginx); • Basic understanding of cloud environments (AWS preferred), including common cloud services; • Comprehension of Java or Python-written code for debugging purposes; • Fluent English.
