Purchasing Engineer

For our trusted client - international leader in global services with 361º vision and innovation for the retail industry, we are searching for Purchasing Engineer.
Main Responsibility:
- Provides purchasing planning.
- Launching and developing projects from zero with suppliers.
- Making negotiations about prices.
- Overseeing supplier production and quality.
- Maintaining relationships with suppliers.
- Establishing and controlling the transport of the goods.
- Validation of the product and production.
- Coordinate the relationship between the factory stakeholders and the suppliers.
- Solve technical doubts with the supplier.
- Propose and design a new product together with the supplier and the Spanish engineering team.
- Travel across the country and meet the suppliers;
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in the field.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Analytical and mathematical capabilities to compare prices and quantities and consider vendor contract terms.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Ability to evaluate market conditions and various suppliers
- Driving licence;
