Senior Accountant

On behalf of one of our trusted clients, an international company in the manufacturing field, we are currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join their Finance Team in Blagoevgrad.

Main responsibilities:

• Responsible for the preparation of the monthly financial reports and analyses
• Strong collaboration with the Plant Controller of the company, local and outsourced accounting team
• Collaborate with the Head of Finance and Controlling to align Group financial strategies with operational goals.
• Responsible for the month-end activities and year-end audit.
• Analyze inventory, scrap and GL accounts.
• Recommend cost-saving initiatives and interact with other functions to support production efficiency improvement measures.
• Support Intercompany Reconciliation.
• Support the Cost Accounting tasks in SAP in collaboration with Group Accounting and Controlling.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
• 6+ years of experience in Finance-related roles
• 2+ years of experience as Senior Accounting or Controlling Specialist
• Hands-on experience with SAP and MS Excel
• Fluency in English (B1-B2)
