System Administrator

For our partner - a Bulgarian retail company that began its commercial activities in the city of Pazardzhik back in 2002. Today, the corporation operates two hypermarkets with two logistics bases, one located in Bulgaria's capital, and warehouse facilities spanning thousands of square meters. The company offers a catalog exceeding 70,000 products that cover the needs of households, construction, furniture, craftsmanship, and many other professions and interests.

They are now looking for a motivated individual for the position of System Administrator with the following qualification: 

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and optimize Linux servers based on CentOS, Red Hat, and Ubuntu.
• Implement and maintain database replication and clustering for high availability.
• Stay updated with the latest features and best practices for PostgreSQL.
• Document database and server configurations, procedures, and policies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database and server-related issues, providing technical support.
• Perform regular backups and recovery procedures to safeguard data integrity.
• Ensure database security, including user access control and data encryption.
• Monitor and analyze network traffic for unusual activity and potential threats.
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability testing of infrastructure.
• Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures.
• Requirements:
• Higher education in the IT field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining PostgreSQL databases on Linux servers (preferred).
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Responsibility, loyalty, and ability to work in a team.
