SQL Analytics Engineer

We are looking for an SQL Analytics Engineer to join one of our client teams. They are leaders in the evolving field of social commerce, revolutionizing how consumers and brands connect globally. Through an expansive network of online shopping destinations, they provide consumers with the insights needed for confident spending decisions while helping brands reach their ideal audiences.

We are seeking a professional with a strong analytical mindset and expertise in SQL to join their Data Analytics team. This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale data solutions and provide critical insights that drive business decisions.

Responsibilities:

➢ Develop and maintain an in-house data warehouse to support data analysis and data-driven decision-making across the organization;

➢ Design and manage ETL workflows to consolidate data from multiple sources into a unified repository;

➢ Create and optimize complex SQL queries to extract actionable insights from large datasets;

➢ Implement data validation and integrity frameworks to ensure data reliability and security;

➢ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions aligned with business goals.

Requirements:

➢ At least 3 years of professional experience in a Data Engineer or Data Analyst role with a focus on SQL;

➢ Advanced SQL skills, with a proven track record of optimizing queries for large datasets;

➢ Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and integration (preferred, but SQL expertise is critical);

➢ Experience with columnar databases such as ClickHouse, BigQuery, or Redshift;

➢ Familiarity with ETL tools such as Airflow, SSIS, or equivalent;

➢ Understanding of data warehouse architecture and design;

➢ Knowledge of REST APIs and integration processes;

➢ Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS (e.g., S3, Lambda, IAM roles);

➢ Fluent English for effective communication within an international team.
