SEO and PPC specialist

On behalf of our trusted client, а leading UK company, we are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to occupy the position of: SEO and PPC specialist

Purpose of the position:

You will be responsible for implementing and managing our search tactics to drive new lead acquisition with a heavy focus on SEO, and a secondary focus on PPC. As the company’s online presence is extremely important for the success of business, your position will play a key role in driving company’s business growth and success. You will integrate search with other channels such as social media, radio, digital PR, CRO/UX, as well as working in tandem with marketing channels such as paid social, referrals and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SEO Implementation: Working closely with the Organic Manager, plan, develop and execute SEO strategies, including on-page and off-page optimization, keyword research, and technical SEO audits to improve organic search performance.
  • PPC performance in Google AdWords and Bing: Hands on when required or working with our digital agency, ensure accounts are highly optimized to deliver forecasted metrics.
  • Search Briefs: Create comprehensive search briefs to guide content creation, link-building efforts, and other search-related initiatives.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Generate and present regular SEO and search performance reports and content gap analysis using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush). Provide insights and recommendations to optimize results.
  • AB Testing: Take full ownership of regular testing plans to improve search performance for key pages and site areas.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with content creators, web developers, and other marketing team members to ensure SEO best practices are followed.
  • Performance Reporting: Assist in the creation and refinement of marketing performance reports, tracking key metrics across channels to support strategic decision-making.
  • Marketing Admin Support: Manage marketing-related administrative tasks such as organizing team meetings, coordinating with external vendors, creating audience lists and sending email campaigns.
  • Project Contribution: Actively contribute to broader marketing and business initiatives, bringing search expertise to cross-functional projects and supporting integrated campaigns.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with industry trends, search algorithm changes, and emerging SEO tools, implementing new strategies to improve organic growth.

Background/Qualifications:

  • 5 years of proven experience in SEO, including hands-on experience with SEO tools (e.g., Moz, Ahrefs, SEMrush).
  • Hands on knowledge of PPC campaigns and paid search optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and industry best practices.
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic web development principles
  • Experience with search reporting and performance analysis using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or equivalent platforms.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels (PPC, social media, content marketing) and their relationship with SEO.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written): translates to strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and actionable way.
  • Ability to work independently, managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with website CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress and Umbraco) is a plus.
  • Experience with marketing administration tasks or project management is a plus.
