Our client is a fast-growing, international business and technology consultancy providing advisory and delivery services to a variety of businesses.

The main purpose of this role:

  • Responsible for the monthly billing, reconciliation and allocating payments for our Strategic accounts.
  • Working closely with Business, Project Managers, to ensure the accuracy of the invoicing and pay and
  • reconciliations.
  • Preparing reporting to the financial commercial team.

Typical engagements include:

  • Contract Review – complete various checks to ensure client and projects are set correctly and compliant for Vat, and to ensure correct billing entities.
  • Maintenance of Strategic account finance trackers to ensure they reconcile to our finance systems and to the client external portals.
  • Ensure the business is recording weekly timesheets accurately.
  • Tracking, monitoring, and reporting on outstanding WIP and Debt, working with the business to drive these to a minimum.
  • Monthly Billing- Prepare invoices on timely basis for PM approval, update status of projects to ensure tracking of billing process, book credits and write offs and adjustments as required.
  • Payment and debt management – tracking /allocating being single point of contact with client to monitor receipts, queries, and reconciliations.
  • Build Best practice processes and ensure business adopts these processes.
  • Will require direct regular contact with PM and consultants and account managers to keep them updated on status of account and support where needed.
  • Monitor and respond to T&E mailbox- answering queries and resolving issues.
  • Ad-hoc reporting and analysis in relation to projects, billings and audit requests.
