IT Auditor - Sofia

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE ТО:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to determine audit scope, objectives, and timelines
• Conduct comprehensive audits of IT systems, processes, and controls to assess effectiveness and identify potential risks
• Evaluate the design and implementation of IT controls to ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards and regulations
• Prioritize risks based on severity and potential impact on business operations
• Review configurations, access controls, and security measures to verify compliance with policies and standards
• Perform testing and analysis of IT infrastructure, applications, and databases to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses
• Analyze data and information to identify trends, anomalies, and potential security risks
• Perform root cause analysis to identify the underlying factors contributing to IT audit findings and propose preventive measures to address them
• Evaluate the effectiveness of IT General Controls (ITGC), identify weaknesses or gaps, and provide recommendations for improvements to strengthen our overall control environment
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement strategies for mitigating risks and improving IT security posture
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including IT, security, compliance to facilitate the implementation of audit recommendations and ensure alignment with organizational goals
• Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, recommendations, and corrective actions
• Track and monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions
• Communicate audit results to management and stakeholders, highlighting areas of concern and opportunities for improvement
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements related to IT auditing and security, and incorporate best practices into our audit processes

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE POSSESSES:

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC, etc., are an advantage
• Proven experience in IT risk management, cybersecurity, IT auditing, or IT compliance preferably in a regulated industry
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, network infrastructure, security protocols, and best practices
• Familiarity with IT General Controls (ITGC) and their application in auditing processes
• Proficiency in IT risk assessment techniques, tools, and techniques for assessing IT controls, processes, and regulatory compliance frameworks
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and information
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders at all levels
• Strong ethical and confidentiality skills, as well as trustworthiness, professionalism, and a commitment to upholding ethical standards and protecting sensitive information in their professional endeavors
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
• Commitment to professional development and continuous learning in the field of IT audit and cybersecurity
