Operational Buyer
For our key client - a new SSC, part of a large German automotive company, we are looking to appoint a Operational Buyer.
We are seeking a dynamic Strategic buyer for the procurement team in Sofia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently steer and oversee procurement projects
- Contract Negotiations and Formations
- Conduct negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable contracts
- Shape contract conditions to protect organizational interests and ensure service fulfillment
- Continuously monitor and analyze global market trends
- Identify opportunities, risks, and trends impacting procurement processes
- Manage existing supplier relationships
- Identify and develop new suppliers to enhance and diversify the supply chain
- Develop long-term procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Regularly create and utilize KPIs to assess and enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness
- Provide support to various departments, particularly in planning, development, and project management, ensuring alignment with procurement objectives
Requirements:
- A proven track record in steering and overseeing complex procurement projects – minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
- Project management skills, with the ability to interact in cross-functional teams and deliver results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred
- Fluency in English
- Experience in at least one of the following commodities:
- Electromechanics (e.g., motors)
- Electronic Components (e.g., PCBA)
- Plastics
- Indirect materials - IT, maintenance-related items, logistics, packaging etc.
