Quality Assurance Leader / QA Specialist

For our client - a leading manufacturer on the field of Industrial terminals for batteries in heavy duty appliances, we are looking to appoint a Quality Assurance Team Leader.

Main responsibilities:

• Define and maintain Quality procedures and processes
• Support in effective and efficient implementation of defined process
• Evaluate process compliance against the defined standards
• Drive effective implementation of improvement actions
• Evaluate project release readiness from quality perspective
• Analyze and report project quality status to the relevant stakeholders
• Develop, execute, and analyze quality reporting measures
• Participate and lead internal and external quality audits
• Identify and if needed escalate project risks to the appropriate levels of Management
• Provide feedback for process improvement
• Customer contact point for Quality topics

REQUIRED COMPETENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• University degree in engineering or another relevant field
• Excellent communication and moderation skills. Ability to instruct, coach, and inspire others
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• General knowledge of Quality Management Systems and tools
• Good knowledge in Quality methodology (8D reports, Root-cause analysis, Control charts)
• Good knowledge in ISO 9001
• Fluent written and verbal English is a must, German is considered as advantage
• Internal auditor qualification – considered a plus
