Expert General Function Procurement

UBB was established in 1992 through the merger of 22 Bulgarian regional commercial banks as the first and largest in terms of scale consolidation project in the Bulgarian banking sector. UBB is seeking a talented and dynamic Expert General Function Procurement in Procurement Department, Administration, Procurement and Security Directorate.

THE PERFECT CANDIDATE HAS:

  • Higher economic or technical education – bachelor’s or master’s degree.
  • Professional experience in the procurement of assets and services, trade or logistics is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of the market and the procurement processes.
  • Good computer literacy – MS Word, MS Excel, SharePoint.
  • Fluent use of the English language – writing and speaking.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills, business ethics and loyalty.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, under pressure and to meet deadlines, analytical thinking and initiative.

IF YOU WANT TO:

  • Organizes and conduct procurement procedures for assets and services within the regulatory and internal requirements.
  • Coordinates the preparation, alignment and signing of procurement contracts.
  • Leads negotiations on behalf of the Bank for supplies and improving the terms of contracts with external contractors.
  • Analyses the processes for procurement of assets and services in the Bank and manages cost-effective optimizations.
