Billing Specialist

Currently, we are looking for a Billing Specialist. In this position, you will be responsible for accurately processing and reconciling invoices, managing accounts receivable, and assisting with financial reporting. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate billing processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and review client invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Verify billing data for completeness and accuracy, resolving any discrepancies as needed.
  • Manage accounts receivable, monitor payment status, and follow up on overdue invoices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as Sales and Customer Service, to ensure accurate billing information and resolve any billing-related issues.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities, including financial reporting and analysis.
  • Prepare and maintain billing documentation, records, and reports.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance with billing standards.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the billing function.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing billing inquiries and resolving customer concerns.
  • Perform other ad-hoc financial and administrative tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Billing Specialist or in a similar role for 1-3 years.
  • Strong knowledge of billing processes, financial systems, and accounting principles.
  • Proficient in using accounting software, especially Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing numerical data.
  • Excellent command of English -both verbal and written;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
