We are recruiting on behalf of a trusted client, a global leader in financial services, for a Billing Operations Specialist. In this role, you will collaborate with various teams, especially TPA and cash applications, to drive accuracy and efficiency.
What We’re Looking For
An ideal candidate has a solid understanding of the insurance industry and its terminology, along with a strong foundation in finance and accounting principles.
Key Tasks
- Possess an in-depth understanding of finance to ensure high-quality billing impacts the revenue-to-cash cycle positively
- Ensure billing accuracy by coordinating updates to client billing information with master data
- Review wire transfers to ensure accurate allocations
- Rebill void requests as needed, as submitted by the collections team or business owners.
- Evaluate contract terms and negotiate pricing adjustments
- Address challenges by working closely with account business owners
- Coordinate with management to ensure accurate invoice billing
- Support reconciliation and monthly closing processes by preparing reports
- Analyze industry relationships to facilitate the billing process
Requirements
- 2 years of experience, ideally in Accounts Payable, Billing, or revenue cycle functions.
- Fluency in English
- Good Excel skills (experience with VLOOKUPs and Pivot tables is a plus).
- Experience with SAP or another CRM system
- Problem-solving skills with ability to identify and suggest improvements in billing processes
- Experience in implementation and/or transfer of processes in an international setting will be a great advantage
