Accounting and Finance Team Lead
As an Accounting and Finance Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting process, ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), with a strong focus on IFRS 16 (Leases). You will manage the entire Record to Report (RTR) process, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial data, while providing leadership and direction to the RTR team. Additionally, you will work with various stakeholders to enhance process improvements and maintain robust internal controls.
Accounting and Finance Team Lead
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide and lead the RTR team in daily operations;
- Distribute tasks and responsibilities effectively to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of deadlines;
- Establish and uphold accounting policies and procedures in accordance with IFRS 16.
- Ensure precise accounting and reporting of lease agreements, including their recognition, measurement, presentation, and disclosure;
- Offer technical accounting advice on IFRS 16-related issues and ensure organization-wide compliance;
- Gather lease contract information from global business units to ensure comprehensive and accurate reporting;
- Partner with other finance teams, business units, and senior management to provide financial insights and support;
- Serve as the intermediary between the Shared Service Center and various stakeholders to resolve RTR-related issues;
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the RTR process and implement corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5-7 years in accounting or finance;
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent;
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS, particularly IFRS 16;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of interpreting complex financial data;
- Proficiency in English is required;
- Experience with SAP SEM-BCS and SAP R/3 is advantageous.
