Lead Engineer - Manufacturing
Our client is a global leader in generic medicines, with innovative treatments in select areas, including CNS, pain and respiratory.
We are currently looking for a motivated professional for the position of Associate Director Engineering.
Associate Director Engineering will have responsibility of leading the engineering team and ensure availability, functionality & reliability of production equipment, facilities & utilities to enable current and future production flow in a safe, quality and cost effective manner.
Main responsibilities:
- Ensure Equipment Functionality & Reliability
- Planning – Support site’s roadmap for required facility upgrades and investments, including rationale, ROI, etc.
- Implement New Technologies & Equipment
- Engineering Compliance
- Initiate & Apply Operational Excellence Programs - Drive Continuous Improvement to meet world-class manufacturing standards using Operational Excellence principles
- Manage Engineering Budget
- Manage Engineering Suppliers
Successful candidate has:
- Relevant Engineering education (College Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Facility)
- Relevant Master's degree is a plus
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant maintenance experience in a relevant industrial production environment
- Experience and knowledge in production environment and product types
- Experience and knowledge in production and packaging process and equipment
- Ability to interpret and localize specifications and standards
- Deep understanding of cGMP, GEP, EHS and applicable local regulations
- Ability to govern Engineering site budget
- Strong people management skills
- Excellent collaboration skills and ability to engage and empower employees.
- Fluent in English language
