Our client is a new international company located in Plovdiv. For their growing team, we are looking for a Chief Accountant.
The role of a Chief Accountant is pivotal in ensuring an organization's financial integrity and operational efficiency.
Below are the primary responsibilities:**

Management of the Accounting Department: Organizing and coordinating the activities of the accounting team. Delegating tasks among team members and monitoring their execution.

Preparation of Financial Statements: Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with national legislation. Analyzing and presenting financial information to the management.

Control of Accounting Documentation: Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records. Reviewing and approving accounting transactions.

Communication with External Institutions: Liaising with tax authorities, auditors, banks, and other external partners. Preparing and submitting tax declarations and other mandatory reports.

Tax and Legal Compliance: Monitoring changes in accounting and tax legislation and ensuring their implementation in the company's activities. Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Budgeting and Planning: Preparing budgets and forecasts in collaboration with management. Monitoring financial performance against the budget.

Working with specialized accounting software: Optimizing and implementing accounting processes within the systems.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Professional Experience: at least 5 years within accounting departments
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools. Familiarity with accounting regulations and standards
- Language Skills: Excellent command of English.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities. Leadership skills are equally important for managing the team effectively
