Transaction Banking and Trade Finance Specialist at ProCredit Holding in Frankfurt am Main

This position is based in Frankfurt am Main at ProCredit Holding, the listed parent company of our banking group.

The Group MSME department in Frankfurt will lead the design, execution, and continuous enhancement of a group-wide MSME banking strategy. Collaborating closely with local banks, the team will focus on fostering sustainable growth and profitability. Key areas of responsibility include market analysis, best practice implementation, client acquisition and retention, product development, and process optimization, all aimed at strengthening our MSME banking capabilities across all markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate and enhance the group’s business potential in Payments & Cash Management solutions for MSME clients across markets
  • Promote and manage trade Finance products, including letters of credit, guarantees and documentary collections in collaboration with PCB DE and local PCBs
  • Coordinate standardized support for local PCBs to strengthen FOREX linked to MSME transactions
  • Analyze payment data to identify trends, optimize processes and ensure efficient, compliant transaction monitoring across the MSME segment
  • Conduct regular market analysis to identify new opportunities for trade finance products and services in our markets
  • Prepare detailed reports on MSME transactions, payments and trade finance activities

MAIN REQUIREMENTS:

  • A university degree in business administration or a similar subject
  • 3+ years of work experience in cross-border remittances, banking, fintech or payments industry
  • Knowledge of payment systems, schemes, and structures is desirable
  • Proven experience in building organizational relationships and partnering with executive leadership while commanding respect across the organization
  • Exposure to international payments, foreign exchange, cash management, settlement and reconciliation processes
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence executives, peers and staff with impact, eloquence, and authenticity
  • Ability to evolve in a complex matrix environment and to operate with complete independence and autonomy
  • An excellent command of English in speaking and writing
