Your Mission:

  • As the Sales Manager for the Balkan Region, you’ll be the catalyst for their expansion in industrial sectors. This role is your opportunity to blend strategic vision, business acumen, and deep industry expertise to drive growth and shape the future of our client’s presence in the region.
  • You will lead the charge in identifying new opportunities, building lasting partnerships, and positioning solutions as the key to solving the industry’s most pressing challenges.

As Sales Manager for the Balkan Region, you will:

  • Drive Regional Growth: Lead the development and execution of a robust sales strategy to capture new opportunities and grow presence and achieve revenue targets across the Balkan region.
  • Build Long-Term Partnerships: Cultivate meaningful relationships with key clients, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty that drive sustainable growth.
  • Leverage Industry Insights: Analyze market dynamics, competitive trends, and emerging technologies to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities across the region.
  • Deliver Outstanding Results: Take ownership of the entire sales lifecycle, from identifying prospects to negotiating contracts and closing high-value deals.

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Technical educational background (e.g. University Degree in
  • Engineering) or commercial educational background (e.g.
  • University Degree in Economics or Business Development,
  • MBA/ BA).
  • Proven Sales Expertise: 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, best in ETO (Engineered to Order), preferably in industrial automation, engineering, or related fields.
  • Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of automation systems with the ability to translate technical features into client benefits.
  • Strong Network: Existing relationships with industry players in the Balkans, including manufacturers, integrators, and distributors.
  • Market Expertise / Strong Network: Established relationships with industry stakeholders.
  • Results-Driven Mindset: achieving sales goals and the tenacity to drive results in a competitive market.
  • Commercial Acumen: Exceptional skills in negotiation, business planning, and value-driven selling.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Ability to engage with diverse audiences, from technical experts to C-level executives.
  • Structured, self-driven and organized approach
  • Flexibility & Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively within the Balkan region to strengthen client relationships and explore new opportunities (80%).
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Balkan languages is a strong advantage.
