For our trusted client, we are looking for EHS Site Coordinator.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) Site Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This position is essential for maintaining a safe and sustainable working environment in our production facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and monitor workplace safety and health policies in compliance with ISO 45001 standards.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments, machine safety evaluations and tools analysis.
  • Provide safety training and awareness programs for employees.
  • Perform internal safety audits and inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 15001 standards.
  • Oversee waste management processes, including reduction, recycling, and disposal initiatives.
  • Monitor emissions, water usage and other environmental metrics to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Stay updated on relevant local and international legislation.
  • Adapt internal procedures to reflect changes in legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Investigate workplace accidents and incidents.
  • Perform root cause analyses and develop corrective and preventive measures.
  • Prepare and submit detailed incident and compliance reports.
  • Liaise with external contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with EHS standards.
  • Partner with internal teams to integrate safety and environmental considerations into operational processes.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in the field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an EHS role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 15001 standards.
  • Strong analytical skills for risk assessments, accident analyses, and problem-solving.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English written and spoken.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
