Experienced Accountant

We are looking for our client a competent and motivated professional to join their team in the position of: Experienced Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Organize and control the accounting activities;
• Prepare and present financial reports and annual balance sheets;
• Manage banking operations in Bulgarian and foreign currencies;
• Participate in the drafting of the annual budget and revenue forecasts;
• Record and analyse revenue and expenses;
• Communication with tax authorities, Social Security Institute and Statistical Institute;
• Assist in preparing tax declarations, Intrastat, statistical reports, BNB, etc;

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics;
• 3+ years of experience in a similar position;
• Good spoken and written English language;
• Good Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel;
• Proficiency of Accounting principles and tax legislation;
• Analytical mindset and accuracy with numbers;
• Knowledge of IFRS would be considered an advantage;
