Senior Linux System Administrator

Due to the expansion of our client's team - one of the largest and fastest growing financial institutions in Bulgaria - we are looking for a Senior Linux System Administrator to join their team.
Among the main responsibilities are:
- Responsible for the server infrastructure, which includes installation, configuration, optimization and periodic updating of the operating systems of the server machines
- Monitors the main parameters of the functioning of the machines, performs diagnostics and resolves any problems that arise
- Analyzes and evaluates new technologies in order to propose improvements to the server services
- Maintains documentation regarding the server infrastructure
- Communicates with external suppliers/integrators regarding installation/maintenance and development of the server infrastructure
- Participates in project groups and projects related to the implementation of new services and infrastructure development
Requirements:
- Higher education (preferably a technical education but not mandatory)
- 5+ years of experience in a similar position (Linux system administrator)
- Good level of English
- Professional experience with HP and DELL hardware (incl. servers) will be considered a strong advantage
- Experience with VMWARE ESXi is considered an advantage
- Experience with Windows Server OS is considered an advantage
- Knowledge of the SAN infrastructure and its components
- Knowledge of basic server services (SMB, NFS, HTTP, SMTP, DNS, PROXY, FTP, IIS)
- Ability to work on site
