Depositary Support Officer Sofia, Bulgaria


Apex Group is looking for a Depositary Support Officer and the role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package, including the chance to join a thriving and inclusive company.

As a Depositary Support Officer, you will be providing support in verifying the ownership of all assets of the Funds that are not held in custody and are defined as “Other Assets / “Alternative Assets”. You must have knowledge of quality control techniques/procedures and understanding of product range and operational processes.

Job specification:

• Providing support in the daily Cash Flow Monitoring on all relevant cash flows.

• Setting-up new funds in the internal control environment.

• Control activities in the Depositary Oversight for both UCITS and Non-UCITS Funds.

• NAV reconciliations incl. all related aspects like cash, assets, and accrued fees.

• Checks on subscriptions and redemptions as well as distributions.

• Maintenance of ongoing reports, e. g. on Key Performance indicators.

• Calculation of Depositary fees and further support in the billing process.

Skills Required:

• A degree in Finance or Business Administration or experience in a bank/depositary/fund accounting role or similar

• An autonomous and solution-oriented working style

• Excellent communication skills in English (B2 level as minimum)

• Communication skills in German Language (B+ level) would be advantageous.
