Project Engineer

For one of our clients, a multinational food production company with well-established presence in Bulgaria - we are searching for a driven professional for the mission of:


Mission of the position:

Provides project leadership during design phase stage and execution at highest level of efficiency, quality and employee safety. Control cost, cash flow phasing and schedule of the projects. Leads a cross-functional project team.

The Major Responsibilities:

• Provides expert opinion from the viewpoint of manufacturing about the applicability and feasibility of specific projects, mostly related to growth, productivity, and infrastructure. Identifies the capital investments and other costs, the optimal layout, the needed equipment, and project phases required to achieve the project scope and objectives • Manage communications interface and project governance within ISC and key stakeholders • Ensure successful execution of the projects in accordance with Integrated Lean 6 Sigma by leveraging IIM principles. Ensure compliance with project workflow requirements. Support/develop FI (Focused Improvement), AM (Autonomous Maintenance) and PM (Preventative Maintenance) initiatives. Work together with Operations teams through project Qualification and Verification phases • Identify cost effective, high savings productivity solutions and develops project in order to improve performance, product quality, safety and sustainability, yield and manufacturing cycle times • Fulfil requirements for design phase (e.g., Risk analysis, design FMEA), implementation phase (e.g., Factory Acceptance Test, Site Acceptance Test ), start-up and successfully handover to the plant • Deliver equipment designs according to company requirements. Coordinate and facilitate change management processes within the plant and regional engineering community to drive standards linking with technology platforms • Strictly adhere to all HSE, GMP, ISO 9001/14001/18000, HACCP and Sanitary design requirements and ensure all suppliers working on the premises of the factory are timely informed and follow them • Help to execute the technical agenda developed from business and consumer needs, transforming business needs into realizable proportions • Lead a cross functional project team at a plant level

Experience required:

• At least 3 years of Project Management experience in manufacturing environment is preferred • International exposure is expected

Qualification and skills:

• University degree in Engineering discipline • Ability to work with AutoCAD • Proven Project Management skills • English (business level) • Qualified in lean methodologies and/or Six Sigma with focus on IIM, AM and PM (preferred) • Experience working across multiple countries and regions (preferred) • Training or mentoring experience (preferred)
