Senior Legal Advisor

Main Responsibilities:

• Serve as senior legal adviser, ensuring effective governance and decision-making. • Establish policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. • Provide practical legal advice and counsel on governance of company’s corporate interests. • Review, draft, negotiate, and finalize complex contracts with clients, vendors, partners, and other stakeholders. • Ensure that contracts are aligned with the organization's objectives while minimizing legal risks. • Provide expert advice on all aspect’s pf employment law, including employment contracts, redundancy procedures, and discipline matters. • Collaborate with HR department to create and implement employment policies, handbooks, and procedures that are legally compliant. • Drafting and preparing claims, employment contracts or other legal documentation. • Keeping up to date with new developments in employment legislation. • Provide guidance on contract interpretation and dispute resolution. • Oversee internal investigations related to legal matters or ethical concerns. • Develop strategies for protecting the organization's intellectual property rights, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. • Ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements and best practices. • Represent the organization in legal matters with external stakeholders, such as government agencies, industry associations, and legal professionals.

Experience required:

• A minimum of 7-8 years of relevant experience in corporate environment; • Law Degree from a recognized institution, further professional qualifications are welcome; • Experience supervising and managing a legal team is appreciated, but not mandatory; • Professional knowledge of the English language and very good computer skills.
