Product Owner, Risk Management Division

Located in HQ, Sofia

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner to join our Retail Credit Risk Directorate. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing the product lifecycle of lending products and will be responsible for collaboration with the business lines, defining and prioritizing product requirements, working with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products, monitoring and managing the performance of existing lending products.

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the credit risk related topics for a specific retail lending product line.
  • Ensure compliance of the products, processes and systems with the regulatory requirements and the risk appetite of the bank.
  • Bring constant improvement to the performance, automation and/or profitability of the lending products, processes and systems.

Requirements:

  • Acting as a SPOC and main decision maker from Retail Risk side and collaborating with all stakeholders in the respective business line.
  • Prioritizing the internal and extremal customer needs and incorporate their feedback into risk strategies.
  • Coordinating a risk cross-functional team to align the markets’ priorities and the execution of the necessary tasks.
  • Being responsible for the product vision, managing the backlog and implementing the risk strategies into systems, processes and policies.
  • Ensuring products and processes are in line with the risk appetite and the regulatory requirements regarding risk management and performing continuous monitoring.
  • Regularly reviewing and adjusting risk management strategies and processes to improve lending automation, efficiency and/or profitability.
  • Obtaining approvals for the new or amended strategies, products and processes by OTP Group and/or local authorities.
  • Participating in variable credit risk related projects.

You are the best candidate if you have:

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Business or other related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in risk management, product management or a related field.
  • Strong leadership, analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and implement effective strategies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bulgarian.
