ACCOUNT OFFICER in Medium Corporate Clients Department - Corporate Banking Division

We are looking for an Account Officer in Medium Corporate Clients Department/ Corporate Banking Division for Sofia.

Requirements:

The successful applicant will be entrusted with the following main tasks:

  • Responsible for the fulfillment of the annual/monthly budget targets set to him/her/the team and follow its execution;
  • Target and actively approach new customers and maintain the relationship with the existing ones, exploring their needs;
  • Actively search for customers outside the target lists or databases - contractors, connected parties, known companies at the market, servicing customers. Adds such customers in the target list;
  • Gather all the possible information (ICAP, Trade Register, Central Credit Register, NSSI);
  • Responsible for the preparation of the indicative offer to the customer, coordinate it with the Account Manager/BC Manager, using the necessary template and send it to the client;
  • Organize and participate in the meeting with customers, coordinates the purpose of the deal with the Account Manager/BC Manager;
  • Responsible for gathering and analysis of all the documents necessary for the preparation of the credit proposal, including the financial documents, information regarding the company’s owners, the company’s activities and the status of the business sector;
  • Responsible for the preparation of the credit proposal according to the bank’s standards and procedures;

Qualifications and experience:

  • University degree from a first class University, preferably in Accounting, Economics, Finance or Banking;
  • Fluency in English – written and spoken;
  • At least 2 years experience in relationship with corporate clients;
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the relevant financial services sphere;
  • Knowledge in modern corporate banking products and services;
  • Reasonable knowledge of banking operations and corporate accounting.
